Research and Nanomedicine – 2018 – Third Edition

After the first two editions' success, the third Research and Nanomedicine workshop will also take place in Pavia, on Thursday, 14th june. This time, too,  this day aims at promoting the sharing of knowledge and experiences among the research groups of the University of Pavia working on nanomedicine and the rest of the athenaeum, hoping to foster new collaborations, synergies and participation to future projects.

Seminar – 11/05/2016 – Lauren D. Black – Extracellular matrix derived signalling in cardiac development, regeneration and repair

Dr. Black's research interests lie in understanding the biophysical signaling mechanisms responsible for the development of healthy and diseased myocardium inclusive of mechanical stress/strain, electrical stimulation, and cell-cell/ cell-matrix interactions. The ultimate goal of his research is to design and develop new methods for repairing diseased or damaged myocardium.
